About The Artist |
|
James Carey-Wilson is a diverse painter.
Originally trained as a fine artist, James has a
specialist painting and decorating business, which
includes bespoke furniture and specialist paint
finishes. |
|
Included in that service would be murals and trompe l'oeil.
James has painted for many prestigious kitchen
companies and interior designers. |
|
His own artwork is in en plein air style or
British impressionistic style. James has also done
some Argentinean charcoal drawings. |
|
His paintings are usually completed from life and
sometimes finished off in the studio. |
|
He has exhibited in London and entered an
exhibition sponsored by the Daily Mail entitled
" Not the Turner prize" competion. It was whttled
down from ten thousand applicants to five hundred! |
