About The Artist
Marigold Plunkett was born in 1983; she grew up in the South East of England and studied for a degree in Social Anthropology in 2001. Since graduating in 2004 she has returned to painting in oils and has been working towards a professional career in portrait painting.

Marigold predominantly paints portraits and continues to develop this side of her work. However, she does take a keen interest in architectural-scapes and is open to a variety of subject matter. She hopes to return to etching and print-making at some point, and develop her interest in sculpture, which she has touched upon in the past.
