About The Artist

Born in India, I moved to London and went to the Central School of Art. I then worked as a designer in TV and Film - started with film director Ken Russell. I then returned to my art.

About The Artist

Self taught artist inspired by stained glass. Taught at adult education stained glass classes in Richmond and ran workshops.

Set up a millennial glass project at an old people’s day centre in Surrey before retirement when I started painting.

My background before that was in hairdressing and newspaper journalism.

I try to make my paintings thoughtful and current. During the Pandemic I have focused on the big issue of Climate Change and the tiny things in nature I had never thought about before Covid Lockdown.

Walking in Bushy Park, close to home, the changing seasons suddenly became more vivid and spectacular.
