Ebru Koçak, Dorking - Marbling Artist and Art Tutor within the Surrey area
I studied and graduated with a Masters degree from the prestigious Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in Istanbul – I had the privilege of being taught by the wonderful Hikmet Barutçuǧil, one of the most inspirational living masters of the art.
I love to provide tutoring to everyone who wants to know more and meet with this amazing art and introduce them to how versatile and contemporary it can be.
I relish being able to provide the opportunity to those who attend my workshops, to learn the roots of this amazing art and use the possibilities of the Art of Marbling Ebru and the potential within themselves, to be creative .
Nicholas John Walsh Dip Ed - Fine Artist & Art Tutor
The objective of the courses will be to focus on individual requirements. Everybody has their own preferences regarding what they like to paint or draw. I will endeavour to improve a student’s skill level, so they become more confident and proficient.
I also will be organising groups to join me during some weekends drawing and painting landscapes on location.
Claire Harrison - Surrey Artist in Oils and Art Tutor
I enjoy sharing my enthusiasm and experience with the local community and I run courses at Guildford Institute and teach on a one-to-one basis. I have been teaching art techniques, how to develop creativity and how to overcome creative block to children, amateurs and fellow artists for over 15 years.
So many students arrive at classes saying “I will never be an artist” or that they can’t be one, because they don’t have any talent. I believe that everyone can be taught the skill of drawing and painting, but some will ultimately have a natural flair for it. For those who want to become artists, all they need is the persistent drive and motivation to do hours of practice and work to create artworks, in whatever form that may take.
Michael Walsh SGFA - Rochester Art Tutor, Workshops & Demonstrations
Fine Drawing and Painting (including Portraits), Presentation Bindings and Calligraphy.
For tutoring, I cover all the major disciplines and a range of subject matter. Apart from sessional teaching, I am more than happy to give workshops and demonstrations to groups and societies.
Previously living in Surrey, I am now resident in Rochester Kent, but am willing to travel.
Richard Waldron FCSD FISTD - Tutor at Caterham Art Group
Some are born with a natural talent, (for instance Picasso could draw beautifully at age 7); that applies in all walks of life. However, drawing and painting is often not well taught! My structured methods can bring out the best in any budding artist.
I paint landscape, portrait, still life; telling a story or expressing an emotion, emphasising light, tone and colour.
I work in a varied style but mostly “post-impresssionist”, or “academic” rendering.
I work both in my studio or ‘en plein air’.
Miles Baker - Clown Artist & Art Tutor
Artistic tuition to small groups
Individual tutorials
Art Club presentations
Although Miles now lives in Exeter Devon, he has travelled the Country including the Channel Isles, participating in numerous Craft Shows, County Shows and Art Demonstrations, so Surrey is within the area he travels to.
Just give him a call and arrangements can be made to suit you needs.
