‘Each flower painting is an intimate study, an observation from life.’
About The Artist
Scottish solo art and gallery exhibitions were John’s main focus and experience from1994 to 2000. After leaving Art College, John taught drawing, painting and mosaic classes to both adults and children as a community artist. During his early years in Scotland, John designed and created site-specific art work for a number of clients who commissioned work for hospitals, community centres, health centres, penthouse suites, showrooms, homes and offices.
Throughout the last six years, John’s experience extended to the commercial picture framing and print industry and he has liaised with interior designers, hoteliers and many clients from the commercial and corporate industries, offering bespoke framing services, selling original paintings, prints and limited editions.
John offers his skills and experience in the commercial and retail sector on a consultancy basis, to interior designers, retail shops and galleries, hoteliers, restaurants and private homes.
Giclee and Digital Prints, Art Cards and free e-Cards alongside services such as Art Rental, Art & Interior Design Services (The Visionary Art Design Team) and a Corporate Service. John’s images are diverse – from landscapes and seascapes of his native Scotland, to Latin American dancers, contemporary flower paintings, abstracts and Eastern images. Many are painted in oils, and more recently pastels, egg tempera and acrylic. The complete works span several years, evolving and adapting to current trends and influences.
