Hot day, the kind that sends you down to the river. The Mariners Club sits in tree shadow across the water — white building, blue trim, bunting catching whatever breeze there is. Boats moored in a line, their hulls going soft in the reflection below. Hard not to wonder which one you’d take out.
An original watercolour painting of the Weybridge Mariners Club on the Surrey bank of the River Thames, between Walton-on-Thames and Shepperton. Just upstream, the River Wey meets the Thames at Weybridge Town Lock. A summer afternoon on a wooded stretch of towpath and weekend moorings, for anyone who knows this reach of the river.

About The Artist
She has painted since childhood: at eight she was enrolled in art school, and she later studied graphic design at university in Ukraine. Alongside her degree she took painting lessons with her mentor, Oleksandr Notkin, who ignited her love of landscape painting, and when he retired she took over his teaching position.
Since moving to the UK in 2022 she has dedicated herself fully to watercolour. Every painting is an original, signed and hand-painted, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. Giclée art prints are available in A4 and A3.
