Windsor Berkshire Rail Bridge

Looking upstream from the Windsor bank this railway bridge carries what was once the Great Western Railway(God’s Wonderful Railway still to some people). It was built to a design called ‘bow & string’ by Isambard Kingdom Brunel about 1840 and still carries traffic to Paddington connecting to the main line from Paddington to Bristol and is the oldest wrought iron bridge still in use.
