This artwork is an exploration into space and away from the earthly realm. Reasons to escape will vary for everyone, but as humans sometimes we all need a path to escape, even for a short bit if not permanently. It was based on the birdseye view philosophy that the further away you can take yourself then the less important worries and concerns in your life become. Like cosmic insignificance therapy, as noted in Oliver Burkman’s book, ‘4000 Weeks’, this artwork helps the viewer to escape into space but instead of a dark void, they are met with colour.

Being human and everything that comes with this, is portrayed in the art and due to the detail, can take many hundreds of hours to complete, typically over many months or a year or more.
This is also something that inspires me to draw, as good sight, stable hands, good mobility and independence are to be celebrated today, as they cannot be guaranteed in the future.
My art cannot just be glanced at, rather to be viewed and studied with patience, then more and more will be revealed."

Mital's artwork 'A Space Odyssey – in Colour' has been selected to be displayed as part of the Elmbridge Moving Arts Exhibition and will be in the Robert Phillips Gallery at the River House Barn in Walton-on-Thames Surrey. This will be from 5th October till 30th October 2022.
One of Mital's paintings was chosen for prestigious display at some of London’s busiest commuter stations, namely Victoria, Waterloo and London Bridge.
This is a one-of-a-kind original impressionist abstract painted by myself using acrylic paints on canvas.
Its pure white titanium white flower buds really stand out against the silver stems, especially with the multi-coloured abstract background.
I used a palette knife along with the hand-made abstract paint on each flower giving them an Impasto 3D effect, which also adds a unique character jumping off the canvas. I also paint the edges of the canvas so they match the painting rather than leaving them just white, so no frame is required.

When I see a canvas, I never get artist's block, I see my next great adventure starting. I'm on a journey without a plan that is constantly evolving. Each brush or palette knife stroke turns into something wonderful that eventually turns into a painting. That Is true art to me, rather than planning every step of the way, but who am I to say?
I am new to painting compared to many other artists and totally self-taught. I never studied at art school and have no art qualifications, but does that make my art unworthy? Can I even call myself an artist? I guess we all have to start somewhere but at least I'm honest enough to admit it and still place great love and passion into every painting I paint.
I have used every painting medium available but found my true love in acrylics. I started painting all sorts of things including trees, waterfalls, fields, sunsets etc. until my wife asked me to paint her a flower painting.
"Paint flowers!" I said, but I gave it a go, and surprisingly my wife was pleased. Since then, I have developed a unique way of painting flowers which I absolutely love. I mix my own heavy-bodied abstract paint and paint Impasto-style impressionist flowers.
I will post free within the UK. If you live outside the UK and wish to purchase my art, please contact me and I will be happy to find out shipping costs for you.

"The Mayor of Reigate loved one of my paintings so much that I donated it to her to have on her office wall. A very proud moment for me!"
This abstract flower painting is a very bold impression of pretty pink bulbs ready to burst into life.
I used very heavy abstract paint so everything really lifts off the canvas, giving an abstract impasto 3D effect that is lovely to touch as well as to view. I never paint the same painting twice, so you will have a one-of-a-kind original painting.
Why not add a touch of floral artwork to your home or office. It’s also the perfect gift for your relatives and friends.

This Impasto abstract flower basket painting was completed using only a palette knife. I used very bold and heavy abstract paint so each colour really lifts off the canvas, especially the flower petals, giving an abstract Impasto 3D effect that is lovely to touch as well as to view.

This acrylic painting on canvas took me weeks to paint and is a real talking point, especially its size and the pretty colours.
I used an impasto painting style which means that the paint raises above the canvas giving a 3D effect on the flowers which is lovely to touch as well as to view.
It will most certainly brighten up any room or cheer up your office.
